Monologue Competition (Act it Out)

Rules :

  1. Every participant can participate in a group of 1 or 2(1 for lights).
  2. No performance must exceed the time duration of 10 minutes.
  3. Any more time will lead to point deduction on per 5sec basis, i.e. -1 for every extra 5 seconds.
  4. Obscenity and vulgarity will be strictly restricted. However, it will be subject to judges' discretion.
  5. The decision made by the judges will be final.
  6. Entries will be allowed till 30 mins before the commencement of program

Judging Criteria:

  1. Performance in acting (dialogue delivery, expressions, body movements) - 60%
  2. Plot - 20%
  3. Presentation encompassing costumes, music, props, use of stage etc. - 10%
  4. Marks for originality - 10%
